next day we sat in the kitchen
and drank coffee,
next day we talked about it in bed,
the rain hitting the metal cover
of the air-conditioner.
next day the alarm went off.
next day we turned
the tv back on.
today you go to work
as I write a poem
that changes nothing at all.
